Todo mundo carrega uma sombra, e quanto menos ela estiver incorporada na vida consciente, mais obscura e densa ela será." Assim como Jung, criador da Psicologia Analítica, Jamylle enxerga a vida e o seu som dessa forma. Inspirada pelo espectro sombrio e caótico do hard techno, a dj convida seu público a abraçar a obscuridade e o caos da vida e dançar com eles, em uma jornada de autoconhecimento.
Nascida em Florianópolis, em 1993, teve sua vida permeada pela música desde que ganhou o seu primeiro violão, aos 11 anos. Como uma boa autodidata, aprendeu a tocar e cantar suas músicas preferidas de rock, jazz e blues e, assim, nascia uma relação com a música que ultrapassa até hoje os limites do ouvido.
Sempre ligada a tudo o que desperta o sombrio inconsciente e aos sentimentos que a maioria faz tanta questão de reprimir, aprendeu a admirar o que há de mais bonito na dor, no drama e na sombra, como uma forma de torná-los parte do seu eu consciente e dominá-los.
Seu som, então, traz à luz o lado sombrio, incorporando elementos dançantes e impactantes às batidas pesadas do hard, que criam dinamismo em seus sets e até um certo ar de comicidade, de quem ri na cara da sombra e não a teme.
Suas referências são vastas, assim como seu gosto musical, que não descarta nenhum tipo de música, apreciando tudo o que lhe toca os ouvidos, a mente e o coração. Na cena eletrônica admira grandes nomes como CARV, Alignment, Shay de Castro e Wehbba, mas seus ídolos não param por aí e perpassam por Pink Floyd, Amy Winehouse, Donny Hathaway e Etta James.
Jamylle sabe do desafio de emplacar um som que ainda causa estranhamento, principalmente na cena eletrônica brasileira, mas está comprometida com o desafio de trazer luz à sombra dos seus ouvintes e popularizar o gênero.
