The human experience is made up of stories that transcend time and cultures, becoming intimately connected with what it means to be human. Stories in Sound focuses on crafting moments in time that guide the listener on an emotional journey with music rooted in the light of each story.

Brock Hewitt is the Founder & Lead Composer of Stories in Sound Studios, based in the Toronto area. Recently coming back to Canada from Los Angeles, where he was interning at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions, Brock’s goal is to create a family of composers that help filmmakers & creatives share their stories. As a composer, Brock's main focus is crafting heartfelt piano and ambient compositions that inspire a deep sense of Hope.

Founded by sonic architect and explorer Robert Raths aka ghostworker in 2007, Erased Tapes is a truly independent record label that has disrupted the industry and rejuvenated the musical landscape. The London-based label has consistently nurtured genre-defying artists from all around the world without losing its avant-garde ethos.

2015 saw BBC 6 Music radio presenter Mary Anne Hobbs stage an Erased Tapes evening featuring Nils Frahm and A Winged Victory For The Sullen at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the prestigious BBC Prom. It was the fastest selling ticket of the entire season. Shortly after Erased Tapes was awarded Best Small Label 2015 at the AIM Awards.

On February 5th 2017 Erased Tapes opened the doors to its new East London home, marking the 10th anniversary by introducing fans and the public to the new Erased Tapes Sound Gallery.

Josh Kramer is a composer and pianist with roots in Ohio and Minnesota, and currently resides in Ankara, Turkey.  His music has been used in productions around the world including numerous tv spots, films, advertisements and commercials for the likes of Chevy, Burberry and others.  As a huge fan of artists like Olafur Arnalds, Josh was honored to have his music used in a series of major ballet performances entitled "Escaping the Weight of Darkness" at the National Theatre of Japan in Tokyo which premiered his music alongside Olafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm. Most recently, his song "Light in the Shadows" was featured by Burberry in their advertising campaign for The Kingdom collection. New projects and developments include his score for the upcoming short film "The Wagon", original music for the feature film "The Wake of Light", and the soundtrack for the acclaimed indie game "The First Tree", available on major consoles now.
