Commander F is the second single leading up to Wille's debut LP "Shoreline Orbs".

The sound is distinctly an 80s affair, while the title is a reference to the infamous USS Nimitz Encounter in 2004, where a certain pilot commander "F" and crew saw a Tic-Tac shaped craft, hovering and making otherworldly maneuvers. In other words, a certain object that was (and still is) unidentified and flying. Intriguing!

As much as any work of instrumental electronic music can be "about" something, Wille's upcoming LP "Shoreline Orbs" is very much about some of these as of yet unsolved mysteries, what their legimaticay may or may not entail for our collective worldview, and about refinding a fundamental curiosity seemingly lost in the wilderness of a bureaucratic adulthood, and putting that feeling to sound.

The recording of my set at Ingensteds last Saturday, which was the end to a great and sunny Sensommerfestival day in Oslo. It's a little distorted for a couple moments in the middle, but still enjoyable i think. Lots of zouk, some proto afro house and a few other bits included...

Second imaginary soundtrack to the Barbès district in the 80's, endless cultural crossroad of Paris. 
If you looked for African, Caribbean, North African music record shops, labels, in Paris, they were mostly in the neighborhood. And some of them are still there.
Le Palais Rochechouart was the name of a small Record shop of the area at that time, specialized in African / Antilles music with a small pop & rock section.
Like the first one, it's a mix of African, North African and Caribbean music, with some Old School Rap too, 80's Block parties were happening one Metro Station away.
