Nach zwei Monate auf dem Mond war es endlich Zeit, nach Hause zu fliegen. Ich war mit einer der ersten Menschen, die den Mond betreten hatten, und ich war stolz darauf. Aber ich vermisste meine Familie sehr. Ich konnte es kaum erwarten, sie wieder in die Arme zu nehmen.

Ich stieg ein und schnallte mich an. Der Countdown begann. 10, 9, 8, ... Ich spürte, wie mein Herz schneller schlug. 3, 2, 1, ... Die Triebwerke zündeten und die Rakete hob ab. Ich sah aus dem Fenster und beobachtete, wie der Mond immer kleiner wurde. Ich fühlte mich ein bisschen wehmütig, aber auch erleichtert.

Wir machten uns bereit für den Wiedereintritt in die Erdatmosphäre.

Ich sah aus dem Fenster und bewunderte die Schönheit der Erde. Ich sah die blauen Ozeane, die grünen Kontinente und die weißen Wolken. Ich suchte nach dem Fleck, wo meine Familie wohnt. Ich wusste, dass sie mich sehnsüchtig erwartet. Ich konnte es kaum glauben, dass ich bald wieder bei ihnen sein würde.

Die Rakete tauchte in die Atmosphäre ein und wurde von einem Feuerball umhüllt. Ich spürte, wie die Rakete ruckelte und vibrierte. Ich hielt den Atem an und betete, dass alles gut gehen würde. Die Rakete verlangsamte sich und landet sehr sanft. Ich atmete auf und lächelte. Wir hatten es geschafft.

Ich stieg aus und winkte den Kameras zu, die uns filmten. Ich hörte den Jubel der Menschen, die uns zujubelten. Ich fühlte mich wie ein Held. Aber ich wusste, dass meine wahren Helden meine Familie waren. Ich rannte zu ihnen und umarmte sie fest. Ich war endlich wieder zu Hause.

Since 2009 Giulio Ricciardi has been in the techno trenches spreading a unique blend of techno and house, spiced with Detroit influences. As a resident of New York City, Giulio frequently performed at clubs in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Networking heavily through the industry, these years were crucial in the formation of Giulio’s style by mainlining the energy of the concrete jungle.   

As an audio engineer, Giulio’s capabilities of sonic blending and smooth mixing are unmatched, drawing from 10 years of live sound experience. This combination of skills can be heard in every work of Giulio’s, and has become a unique strength. 

  Versatile on hardware and tech, Giulio’s knowledge of the fundamentals is built upon a strong foundation of formal education and classical training, studying music technology and recording during university.  Prior, these interests were pursued and studied for over a decade, further enhancing his technical knowledge and rounding out a finely tuned skill set.
