This is a track I've wanted to release since the day I recorded it. I wrote this for the young women from a small town moving into a big city. A hard reference to my Whitehorse girls wanting to get out of the Yukon Territory. This one is for you.

This is an emotional track I wrote over the course of 365 days. I wrote this for my cousin Kaitlyn who passed away, she was always there for me when I needed somebody. She helped me filter through my anger and anxiety problems. At a young age I was a screwed up kid and she noticed, she seemed to have the right lessons to teach me. Now I honour her with this song and dedicate my dedication to music for her. R.I.P. Kaitlyn Naomi Jessica Johns..

Written about the character William Byers in Stranger Things a Netflix series that caught my eye the minute it was announced. I binge watched the first season and felt so inspired I thought to myself "I'm going to write a song about this show!" Instantly I wrote about the kind of things the character Will was going through and the encounters he had with a demonic monster.
