The War

Giving Away Monday officially came into fruition in November of 2014, but the project's roots date back to the previous year when members Troy Lawson and Danny Vail began collaborating on some music that combined elements of Lawson's metal and deathcore roots with Vail's pop songwriting sensibilities. They recruited clean vocalist Kristina Woodworth, bassist Cody Davis, and drummer Tom Yagle to begin work on a six song EP that not only ignores the metalcore rulebook, but obliterates it and rewrites the whole thing from scratch. This is a band that is not to be overlooked in 2015.
