Took me a little while to wind down and process what happened at Fusion. Pfiouuuuuu… what a ride 🚀

So grateful to have gotten the chance again to contribute to this incredible festival. Playing sunset at Seebühne on Saturday evening to a sea of people, friends, family & so many familiar faces was such a dream coming true! Thank you all for coming & the vibes 🥹

I actually got the request to play at Seebühne quite last minute, just 3 weeks before the festival and with just 1,5 weeks left in the studio… F*ck me, this was stressful - as it was so important for me to show you what I’ve been working on in the studio, to play a set that’s fresh, truly feels like me and tells a story, like I always try to do. I also wanted it to be uplifting and create something that feels like a little breather - with everything that’s going on in today’s world.

It was pretty stressful and everything but easy to finish all these tunes in such a short period of time & find the right puzzle pieces (probably also because of my high expectations to myself) but from all the love and sweet messages that I’ve been receiving so far I guess I must have done an alright job 🫠

So yeah, thank you so much for all your love and appreciation and for more than 10k plays already! Truly means a lot🫰

…and it can’t be said enough, thank you Fusion! You absolutely nailed it!! So grateful for this wonderland without phones on the dancefloor, filled with so much love, art, surprises, the best music & most insane production… ❤️‍🔥

Mia Kober | Fusion Festival 2025 | A Seebühne Afternoon

Live recording of my hybrid live/DJ opening set at Fusion Festival, Sonnendeck – Thursday 16:00–17:00.

This was my first show with the new setup, combining live handpan and djembe with DJing – and it was an absolute joy. The sun was blazing, the crowd was glowing, and the energy was pure magic.

Massive thanks to the Fusion crew for building this one-of-a-kind festival, and to the 3000Grad crew for the invitation, the beautiful stage, and the improvised parasol that saved the handpan from melting.

The handpan tracks 'Ouvertyre' (intro) and 'Eltanin' (starting at 21:32) are productions I wrote and produced for my electroacoustic band https://soundcloud.com/norlyzmusic. With NORLYZ we combine the warmth and fragility of acoustic instruments with the precision and power of the electronics: captivating grooves rich in fine sonic details, inspired by techno, jazz and global sounds. Samstag um 4 Uhr morgens die volle Hütte zwischen Genres an der Nase herumzuführen, machte einen Heidenspass und lässt uns immer noch sprachlos zurück.
Ein riesengrosses Dankeschön an die ganze Seebühne-Crew und die nimmermüde Crowd für die Übertreffung unserer kühnsten Träume.
