Our first little Anniversary ! The 10th Edition of Explore Yourself podcast so we invite our friends from Berlin and Warsaw to make this podcast! Our first guest Born 1977 in Rostock at the beautiful Baltic Sea, 2000 then the way to Berlin - where I live since then and would not like to leave here ... Paul van Dyk's album "45 RPM" brought me to electronic music in 1994, I then heard AvB "Blue Fear", Tiesto's remix of "Silence", Chicanes "Offshore" & The Thrillseekers "Synaesthesia" and since then I am connected to this kind of music. My favorites now almost all come from the Anjunabeats or Anjunadeep label. These tracks can be found in almost all my sets ... maybe we'll see each other in Berlin at the "Capital Beach" - do it like Martin Solveig "... I just came to say hello ..." or just come to the "AnjunaFamily Germany" facebook group ... Greetings from Berlin ...

Second part of podcast was made by last year our dj contest Czapińscy  - music collab from Warsaw in Poland, consisting of two DJs & friends - Pete and Piscore. Project is focusing mainly on the progressive house music. Their music journey began in totally different places. When Pete was playing faster, more aggressive music genres, Piscore was focusing on softer varieties of electronic sounds. After a relatively short periods of solo projects, they decided that they could achieve synergy together - and so it happened. Pete & Piscore have been playing together for almost two years. In their sets they combine progressive house inspired by such artists as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Matter, GMJ, Kamilo Sanclemente, Cream [PL], Dmitry Molosh, Emi Galvan, Eli Nissan, Fernando Ferreyra and many more. However, don't be fooled by these two ostensibly nice persons, because they are no strangers to techno varieties such as acid UK, dark, hardgroove techno.

Although arxxin (said like ‘arcsine’) has only started to enter the public eye recently, her years of curating and mixing from the depths of her bedroom have prepared her to emerge into the Halifax scene ready to impress. Her tastes range from organic and progressive house, to progressive and trance, and up into techno when the night calls for it. arxxin’s sets always pride themselves in creating a journey, sometimes through reflective emotions and other times to reach the height of the dancefloor. Her love of sharing in the experience of good music with others is the motivator behind every project she takes on.

For August’s edition of Amplified, arxxin brings an exploration of progressive music, from house to trance.
