Amsterdam's Osàre! Editions and Berlin's Sameheads team up to present a spicey spilt-side release. A hot take on new wave-saturated punk, the record flirts with the raw sound of the underground, spiralling through free-wheeling experimentation and raucous evenings, powered by throbbing revelry.

First up, three-piece assemblage Taurus crank up an electrified automaton for 'Paket.' With a voice like a supermarket tannoy from a half-forgotten fever dream, Diana Barbosa Gil reels through the days of the week, accompanied by a minimalist, plodding melody. Exploring ideas of self-determination and authority, the band combines spoken-word surreality and in-your-face dance zeal. 'Spielen' captures their palpable chemistry on-stage – the track was recorded live during Sameheads event series Diapason, curated by residents Eva Geist and Ondula.

Turning over to the B-side, upping the ante and the tempo, Schulverweis follow in the footsteps of the Geniale Dilletanten tradition. Art-haus proclivities bounce along to an ear-worm beat in 'Schwarzfahren,' followed up by the bass-whistling wizardry of 'Ichbineinarzt.' Before going out with a bang, howl and a whimper via the aptly titled 'Blut.' Schulverweis' slick delivery is entirely instinctual, improvised in jam sessions over hypnotic loops produced using a children's Casio keyboard, discovered years ago in the dusty corner of a club.

The EP is a testament to the long-standing collaboration between the dual imprints, with Osàre! label boss Elena Colombi appearing frequently on Sameheads lineups. The pair are further united by their shared passion for explosive new talent and all things a little unconventional.

Following the great success of Hernan Cattaneo and Hicky & Kalo's single 'Voyage' that reached Beatport Progressive House #1, Plaisirs Sonores Records will present two awesome remixes to complete the triptych.

The first remix come by Croatian-born and Danish-bred master Denis Horvat who elevates the track in his own style and gives it the power to crush any dancefloor into an epic voyage of sound.

Denis Horvat has quickly become a hot topic in the underground music industry, with his melodic signature sound. A self educated producer with a quite simple musical background as a drummer, he managed to put himself on the map, with huge releases on Innervisions, Afterlife and Diynamic.

In Melbourne the names of Jacob Malmo and Tom Evans are well known as solo artists. Together, they have carved a niche for themselves as The Journey, a name synonymous with sturdy progressive. It's a sound that's been forged with their combined 20 years plus of dance music experience - and one that’s gaining traction internationally.

Alongside multiple European tours, they have graced stages at iconic festivals like Rainbow Serpent, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic, and Strawberry Fields. Labels from Monaberry to Stil Vor Talent to Einmusika have signed their music and they've collaborated with artists including Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, and Florian Kruse.

Their name is an apt one too: a Journey set can take exciting turns which never feels forced. On this almost two hour set they deliver on that sentiment with an adventurous sound that is minimal in aesthetic yet maximal in impact. XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the underground's finest selectors.

This week's guest is Toronto's Nambeh. With releases on Isolate, Plano B & Mumbai records, the producer is making his way as one of the most exciting producer coming out of the North America in recent years. In this set spanning over two hours, he drops gems upon gems on top of a few label favourites such as Schlepp Geist's 'Run' & Imeïa's 'Le Pire Pour La Fin'.
