PVSSY est une DJ, productrice et créatrice numérique originaire de la ville de Guayaquil, en Équateur. Son travail sonore se base sur la recherche des possibilités dans la déconstruction des rythmes latino-américains.  En expérimentant avec et en leur donnant des teintes sombres avec un nombre infini de textures, PVSSY crée des atmosphères futuristes et nous invite à bouger sur le rythme puissant de ses beats. Ses créations digitales établissent une relation directe avec son travail sonore tout en restant dans cette esthétique sombre et futuriste qui se traduit dans chacune de ses pièces. Les supports qu’elle utilise habituellement se caractérisent par leur qualité métallique et leur densité chaotique.

PVSSY is a DJ, producer and digital creator from the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Her sound work is based on the search for possibilities in the deconstruction of Latin American rhythms.  By experimenting with them and giving them dark tones with an infinite number of textures, PVSSY creates futuristic atmospheres and invites us to move with the powerful rhythm of her beats. Her digital creations establish a direct relationship with her sound work by staying in this dark and futuristic aesthetic that each of her pieces benefits from. The media she usually uses are characterised by their metallic quality and chaotic density.

This week we got a fkn master chef in the mix ∿ Berlin based Brazilian DJ and producer Folly Ghost has been cooking up sth truly special in the CDJ kitchen for y'all AND he was generous enough to share his secret recipe with us:

"Xereca means cunt in Portuguese. Here’s what I used to make this:

4 tbsp. of Baile
8 oz. of Jersey Club
2 tbsp. of vaginal lubrication
1/3 cups of cheesy pop
5 strawberries
10 gal. of anxiety
4 tbsp. of Ghetto tech
Salt and pepper to taste

Folly Ghost is a Brazilian DJ, producer based in Berlin. His tracks are a collection of seductive rhythms with a fierce bass that set the mood for a celebration of bodies. He enjoys exploring a wide variety of peripheral sounds such as Jersey Club, Ghetto House, Ballroom Music among other diasporic beats. Influenced by his upbringing in Rio de Janeiro, mixtures of Baile Funk are often featured in his sets, however Folly Ghost's commitment is not to genres, but to creating a space for lust and delight.
