This parts sounds like it would fit PERFECTLY in one of those fun/happy travelling vlogs. Especially in those specific silent parts where they like fast forward to one destination to the next. Anyway, great composition! It's really unique and makes me feel happy everytime I listen! :D

CORPSEWAVE 2022 - CHAPTER I - ACANTHUS

Exquisite Corpse is a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule or by being allowed to see only the end of what the previous person contributed.

Introducing a new concept: A Musical Exquisite Corpse. Based on the classical Exquisite Corpse idea, 15 incredibly talented artists from the Worldwave Discord community came together to collaborate on the second project in the series.

Each artist, in a randomly-arranged list, was tasked to create up to 16 bars in a timespan of 4 days, based ONLY on the 2 last bars of what the previous artist created, never hearing the full composition. Then, the last 2 bars of their creation were sent forward to the next artist in line. No artist (except for me, the first prompt) was exposed to anything in the composition except their predecessor's prompts, until the moment of this release!

The Acanthus flower symbolizes long life, immortality, rebirth, and the collaborative nature of humankind. We felt like it's a super relevant title for this Corpsewave.

New drumstep track! Sorry if mixing/mastering is sloppy. I was really losing motivation on this track, so I really felt the need to get it out there! As you may have been able to guess from the song title, genre, and samples used, this song was initially inspired by Rusherz, but I decided to branch off early on because Rusherz's style was just too intricate for me to replicate. Also, don't worry - this is the last "inspired by" song! I actually started this track before I started Skies, and I really wanted to finish it. Anyway, thanks for listening! :)
