Ukraine's Freakbreak has been honing his musical craft for a few years now, and we think this genre-defying EP marks his best work yet. Skyline is a deep and uplifting progressive number. Title track Midnight Rain heads further underground with some fantastic atmospherics, borrowing from techno, deep house, progressive and whatever else he fancies. Finally, Dark City is a brooding noir-esque groove, showcasing Freakbreak's film score and bass music roots, while creating something that is very much his own.

Further to his wonderfully eclectic Midnight Rain EP on Glamour Punk earlier in 2016, Ukrainian-born house and bass music producer Freakbreak sails the seven seas to join his beautiful golden-voiced compatriot Tiara, holed up on the Chinese tropical holiday island of Hainan. The result is The Most Important, a deep yet uplifting beast of a track, building and switching throughout, with Tiara’s delicate jazz-inflected vocals wrapping themselves around the song’s arching melodies.

The Hive, aka NickBee and Limel, drop a top notch melodic electronica house remix worthy of Sasha or Solomun - all fierce analogue synth wobbles and clever percussion samples. Glamour Punk regular Fallow brings out the Reese basslines for a deep and beautiful houser that has melancholy summer nights right at its heart.

Parisian favourite Wize ( @wizemusic ) is back with a perfectly crafted electronic house tune - Midnight Calls is his soundtrack to the energy of his home city at night, glowing skylines and glistening streets, full of melancholic longing and urban glamour. Liquid arpeggios and retro synths interweave before exploding into classic pianos for the finale.

Novosibirsk NuDisco don Max Lyazgin returns to Glamour Punk together with studio partners Tom Rain and Son'X with a big melodic groovy tune, which also serves as the unofficial theme for legendary beach club Kudeta in Bali, where Max is a regular DJ guest. Kazakhstan's finest Fapples turn in a rather fine remix, taking things to deeper territory. On the flip, Manchester's Benjamin is in a heavy mood, eschewing his trademark 80s style for something altogether more intense.

Those ivory keys sounds truly awesome, especially when you combine them with St. Petersburg native Pavel Svetlove's playful house beats and basslines. South Africa's Household Funk & Apollo impress us much with their remix tactics, some deep and bubbling dancefloor drama - real quality house music. Germany's Joris Dee plays it raw and techy, with chugging beats, moody off keys and techno-tinged drum FX.

Talented producer Simon Sinfield graces the decks at Glamour Punk once again with a crisp, melodic vocal progressive houser full of end of summer vibes. Greece's up and coming Nio March slows the tempo and turns in a blinder of a mix that still has us reminiscing of beach sunsets, with its phat bassline and ethereal, effects laden washes. Rounding off the package, a blissed out instrumental from Simon himself. Quality!
