Labour Briefing was founded in 1980 as a bulletin board for Labour Party activists first in London and then across the country. In 2012, readers voted to transfer the magazine to the Labour Representation Committee. Glasgow Labour Briefing Supporters’ Group was established in 2018 to provide a forum for political discussion and education within the Scottish Labour left.
