The next release on Black Seven Music comes courtesy of Swiss talent Boy.An, featuring a remix from rising Argentinian artist Tomas Bisquierra - What It Do EP.

Boy.An was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. His artist name is an adaptation of his real name, Bojan - which comes from Eastern Europe (Serbia). His latest body of work comes as a two-track EP, accompanied by a remix from upcoming South American talent Tomas Bisquierra.

What It Do opens the release with loose grooves and pleasantly nonchalant energy. Swinging drums and arpeggiated synths add a level of rambunctious energy to its punchy foundation and melds perfectly in places with its catchy vocal hook. A potent hip-shaker for peak time sets!

Tomas Bisquierra follows with a raucously upbeat re-do of the title track. Boasting a high-energy tech house persona from the outset, its furiously attention-grabbing presence makes for the perfect weapon of choice to unload on packed dancefloors.

Boy.An closes the EP with Stay, a progressively melodic terrace tech style track. Hypnotically soulful at its crux, it champions the true essence of a club-ready vibe-builder - endlessly layering rich frequencies, gliding percussive loops and driving drum work alongside a rising vocal that readies you perfectly for its many throwdowns.

Don't Stop is the sort of full flavour house cut to get any club going. The fat synth bass props up the squelchy beats, while rising chords bring the colour. Nutty has been a consistently propulsive force on our team and its fucking amazing to have him back on the home turf for his EP. Leave it to these guys to take shit to the next level and rework Nutty's A and B sides PERFECTLY, rounding out the EP in style. 

But it gets even BETTER. Joining us for the first time ever, on his first collaboration, we have a very familiar yet fresh face joining the label. A true icon, inspiration and world class friend, Kelby makes his way to the label providing the perfect amount of grit and sass with his vocals on 'Feel Something'. Amazing things happen everyday, but this sure tops our list. This track BANGS, sure to be the highlight of many sets this summer.

Following their sold-out date at Manchester’s iconic Albert Hall for an Edible x Kaluki special, Bristol’s Eats Everything has unveiled his collaboration with Chicago DJ/producer Green Velvet on their latest production, ‘Complex’ - released via Relief Records on 19th April.

‘Complex’ continues Eats Everything’s close relationship with the Chicago-based label, following 2017’s rumbling release, ‘Loud’. The hypnotic track, which also features Green Velvet on vocal duties, is certain to impact dancefloors worldwide and continue to cement the duos reputation as underground production powerhouses.

The record precedes Eat’s recently announced monthly summer residency at Berlin superclub, Watergate. The 3-date residency will open on the 25th of April alongside Ilario Alicante, with subsequent dates on 23rd May alongside Andres Campo and Trucante, before closing on the 20th June with Kristin Velvet.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
