True to its eclectic and passionate identity, and to celebrate its 5th anniversary, Pont Neuf announces the release of a new compilation, “Hexagonal Club Vol.2”. An unprecedented project which brings together  he titles of the most promising young talents on the current French electronic scene: Flabaire , Tour-Maubourg, Cosmonection, Madcat, KX9000, Calmos & Berzingue, Fasme, Herr Krank, THEOS, Saudade and Vitess. Composed of 12 original tracks, this compilation immerses the listener in the heart of the different facets of electronic music through diverse and colorful explorations.

It is with the silky title of Flabaire ‘’Sleeve’’ that the compilation opens, followed by the jazzy house sounds of Tour-Maubourg and the balearic and aerial influences of Cosmonection with ‘’Deep Oddities’’ and ‘’Las Olas’’. Madcat and Calmos follow up with two deep and mental tracks:‘’Cala Saona’’ and ‘’Consoude’’ followed by the groovy ‘’ Gambling House’’ by KX9000. Following them, ‘’ Turbo Blaster’’ by Fasme, imbued with hypnotic italo-house melodies; ‘’Something Different’’, a sunny piano house track by Herr Krank, and ‘’ Wanna Go Out’’ by THEOS, a deep house title supported by loud and warm bass. The compilation ends with a more techno vibe with Saudade’s dark minimal ‘’ Kaleidoscope’’, the energetic ‘’ With the Brizious’’ by Berzingue; and, finally, the broken and mystical style of Vitess with D.C.D.L.’’

The absolute Don of Italo piano house, Don Carlos brings his legendary sound to RNT with an EP of classic floor fillers. Don (Carlo Troya) and S-Tone (Stefano Tirone) released two records on Bologna label Calypso in the early 90s under the artist name Montego Bay. Incredibly, the 4 tracks on this EP were also produced 30 years ago, then shelved and forgotten about until recently when a connection with RNT inspired Don to dig up their rare vintage! From pumping melodic house jams like Music All Night and Waited So Long, to sampled disco house cuts Keep Dancing the Boogie and Gotta Keep Dancing, this EP is a veritable time capsule, dripping with the swag and sonics of the golden era of 90s club music.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
