It’s been 5 years since we last heard from Parisian Techno DJ Technasia, now in 2021 he is set to make his long–awaited return to Toolroom, with his follow up to the 2015 Green Velvet collab ‘Suga’. One of the biggest club hits to be released on the mighty Toolroom, and after recently receiving exclusive remixes from Detlef and David Penn, Technasia is back with the brand new, absolutely huge club banger ‘Bring It Back’.

Technasia is no stranger when it comes to building anticipation and it is well worth the wait when listening to ‘Bring It Back’. But the world has drastically changed during his hiatus to the label. After almost a year of the pandemic with club culture and dance music being hit the hardest, the feeling of escapism which live music offers has been lost. Technasia sought to engage the #ToolroomFamily to encourage them to reach out and send voice notes of their own stories and what they miss about electronic music, the night life, clubbing and festivals – in a world first collaboration. Using WhatsApp, both Toolroom & Technasia compiled all of the fan submissions together to create the tracks unique melody, interjected throughout the record with one message, to bring back clubs and nightlife.

Full of dancefloor nostalgia ‘Bring It Back’ highlights the positivity and inclusiveness live dance music brings and those moments we miss the most. The atmosphere created by the DJs, the people and the freaks who come out at night meant you could forget about the world for hours.

What Technasia has created with ‘Bring It Back’ is a tech house roller reminiscent of long summer evenings, sweaty nightclubs and good times. With a unique message of love and appreciation for dance music and a sense of community and togetherness we all need right now. ‘Bring It Back’ is an inimitable record with message we can all relate to, and a groove we all can’t wait to get down to.

Belgian DJ/Producer Siege joins the Brobot Records family with the release of his latest single “Yeah,” out now.

Fresh off its 2-year anniversary, Brobot Records, the label headed by Junior Sanchez, will be celebrating another exceptional year in 2016. The imprint has hosted some of the biggest names in house music including Harry Romero, Felix Da Housecat, Alexander Technique and Blaqwell.

Having already seen major support on BBC Radio 1 from the likes of Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard, Siege’s “Yeah” single consists of two tracks – the title track is marked by a swinging bassline and a chopped up soul sample that gives it a warm, infectious feeling. The Junior Sanchez remix of the original is full of classic tracky US house vibes that is sure to get dance floors from New York to LA and everywhere else in between moving.

Brobot Records has also proved time and time again their pristine knack for spotting new talent early on, adding Siege to their roster. Born and bred in Belgium, it was from a very early age that Siege’s eyes opened to the world of Dance. As every young Dance music fan does he gathered his life savings and invested in a set of turntables. Since then Siege has remixed the likes of Rudimental, Charlie XCX and Kaz James. His last release ‘Crunk’ chalked up a Beatport top 10, spending 5 weeks in the House Chart top 10.

House music isn’t just a genre—it’s a movement, a feeling, and a way to connect with others on the dancefloor.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
