STEFAN RIEGAUF - Behind The Dust

One of our favourite records of 2013 was Offspin’s aptly named “Guilty Pleasures”. Another was the 4th release in Shir Khan’s brilliant Secret Gold series. The artist they had in common? Pavel Petrov. His “Party Up” record on Offspin was the perfect hip-hop sampling, big-ass basslined monster jam and it did exactly what it said on the tin. Everywhere we heard it out from Propaganda in Moscow to the Sub Club in Glasgow this cut did serious damage on the dance floor. So while we didn’t think we’d become a home for Bulgaria’s two finest house producers, we are very happy to see Pavel join his countryman Metodi Hristov on the Glasgow Underground roster.

“Suzane Sunshine” kicks things off with another of Pavel’s fun-time party killers. Big guitar plucks, swinging chords and a bassline that would move the Empire State building make this perfect floor shaking cocktail. Add in some cheeky hip hope snips and, “Boom!” there you have it, big tune alert.

For those looking for something more serious, and a lot more like his Bulgarian friend Metodi’s style of club weapon look no further than “The Chavdar”. What it means, I have no idea. Maybe one of Pavel’s friends has built a radar for Chavs and this is named after it. Who knows?? All I know is that this has the kind of dark, rolling groove that has seen Metodi Hristov rise through the tech house ranks in a Wilfried Bony style and fashion. So if you have a small dark room full of hyped-up sweaty bods, and you want screams, fist pumps and a monster bounce when it drops (hold tight for 4m42s!), this is the cut for you.

The wonderfully-titled “Raccoons” finishes off the EP with a perky string-laden, cowbell infused groove that is made for a future 2015 boat party. If only Miami was just around the corner Oh HANG ON A MINUTE!!

Swiss DJ and producer duo BR!TCH debut on Bonzai Progressive with the superb three tracker Fallout. The project began with a great friendship between François Renevey and Jérémie Perreaud who decided to get together in 2015. They soon began to play DJ sets in different Swiss clubs and festivals including MAD Club, Globull, Free4Style and more. Alongside their live performances, the duo also worked actively on music production releasing original tracks on various respected labels such as Istanbul Records, Plasmapool or the legendary, NYC based, King Street Sounds (Nite grooves). Their releases stand out with a unique sound that combines groove from the club culture and melodic chords. 2018 is full of promise with different releases on Synox Digital (Ensis Records) among others. Great to have them on board here at BP. Fallout delivers a superb tech house vibe. Tight beats provide a steady rhythm as bubbling basses lock us into the groove. A complex web of sounds combine to form a mesmerizing main theme which is backed up with an urban ambience. Proper floor filling material here that will not disappoint. Get It is the perfect floor fodder to keep the party rocking. Nice and solid punchy kick drums and rhythmic percussions lead the way as a deep, lush bass controls the low end. Cool chord stabs add that classic vibe as softer melodies float overhead. A damn fine slice of tech with a subtle sprinkling of prog that is not to be missed. Somewhere delivers a powerful progressive groove right from the get go. Tight drums create a flowing rhythm which provides the platform for the track to build effortlessly. Warm, lush basses rise from the depths as hypnotic notes lock us in. Full of dark, groovy undertones capturing the imagination, this one is another high calibre dance floor weapon.

Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.

This is an official independent label - LIKE profile that is setup to connect all people-artists who were chosen to manage effectively (PLEASE DON´T SEND ANY TRACKS FOR REPOSTS OR DEMOS BEFORE PREVIOUS COMMUNICATION) or might be interrested to collaborate on a specific music project.  Profile is now set up as a SOUNDCLOUD REPOST for credit splits and some promotion. Other future setups in progress but nothing will be officially released until ready and will cover all processes and subjects involved.

* Independent promotion is one of project-activities! Its also supportive but not possibke to support individual efforts too and is done using private or support pages (to avoid double (work). Your output might be noticed soon or later if stopping by or around this forming community. Also any support-repost , like or follow is highly appreciated as this "place" is to connect many by various projects but maybe even reconnect for your benefit too!

For specific projects artists and people involved may be chosen directly and your decision to cooperate, agree on the conditions and any misuse of copyrights will be on your own will and reputation. 

Main purpose is to set up simple and effective process for colaborations on music projects including managing roles, guarantee rights of artists that measurably contributed to the final output based on a prior scheme agreement, distribution (technically to enable simple authors revenue split and management) and function as access point (just technically) for promotions. 

PLEASE try to follow at least BASIC main organization rules based on info received as it will extremely help efficiency to ALL and be responsive and HONEST especially at some agreed scheduele), communication etiquette within people involved and respect copyrights(especially by providing at least main sources of your inputs and saving them too). Side project to your main activities is WELCOME as it is pretty much the idea overall to connect, improve and have fun.

Its needed to follow some basic rules and agree on main issues not to complicate things, but to make interractions efficient and clear so when the project is finished all is clear and no "papers" are needed(maybe just final confirmation of all artists that contribueted to the result to the final release). 

Even closed project (if necessary) can lead to new ones and all unimplemented artist inputs will be stored in case it might be useful with some other project  and your credits will be acknowledged automatically (unless you delete the inputs NOT USED within a specific project or want to use them personally in your own or other project).

Some music is promoted (independently) to split the production and streaming projects!

Any other available technical support, recommendations and agreements will be provided. 

Temporary project managment system (effective with Microsoft - Onenote app)- operation system (use if helpful to you or any project). The core OS is being developed by **Verso*Tech to simply connect with any system or process. Everything is a project!
