Our next release of 2022 comes from Spanish DJ / producer and elrow favourite, Tini Gessler, who makes her welcome return to Pirate Copy's Kaluki Musik with her brand new, 'Clickbait' EP. 

Since her last release on the label back in 2020, Tini continues to make waves in the scene and rise through the ranks with successful releases on labels including elrow, Stereo, Desert Hearts, Rawthentic and Kittball. Proving her skills as a DJ that knows how to control the dancefloor, Tini has progressed with peak-time sets and frequent bookings, gracing the booth of many a club from Studio 338 in London to Amnesia, Ushuaïa and Hï in Ibiza, alongside festival appearances at Tomorrowland and Sziget. 

Gaining identity in her productions through combining House and Techno with melodic elements, the 'Clickbait' EP does not disappoint; packed to the brim with robust drums, crisp percussion, infectious basslines, hypnotic atmospherics and funk-laden vocal licks throughout. Enjoy!

Josh Butler and Origins Rcrds bring the summer in with Full Swing with the new release from the fast rising talents of Dublin’s Andrew Azara and London’s Timmy P for their first release together titled ‘Full Swing’ 

Andrew Azara has had a great set of releases in the last 12 months including releases on Archie Hamilton’s Moscow Records, Sidney Charles’ Heavy House Society, Santé’s AVOTRE and also a remix of Mat.Joe on Origins aswell. Timmy P has featured on labels such as Seb Zito’s Seven Dials, Luuk Van Dijk’s Dark Side of The Sun, and Prunk’s PIV, with an EP released on Origins aswell. The pair have been regularly supported by many in the scene including Jamie Jones, Franky Rizardo, Chris Lake, Kevin McKay, Prok |Fitch and many many more. 

For their first release together, the pair serve up a delightful 4 tracker, which starts with the title track of the EP ‘Full Swing’. This is an upbeat and bouncy track with a grooving bassline to get those hips moving and a shaking. It’s topped off with smoothly treated chord stabs to keep the head bopping and this is definitely one to get the floor moving.

DeMarzo - Pristine Worldwide

The summer season might be all but over, but the good times keep on coming courtesy of this latest missile from Do Not Sleep by Luuk Van Dijk with a top remix from Ben Sterling.

Amsterdam based talent Van Dijk has had music in his bones since his youth and next to laying down sets at Paradise, Awakenings, elrow, Cocoon he has held a residency at Straf_Werk and released on taste making labels like Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Circus Recordings. He saves his best for Do Not Sleep however. 

In the District is tight, tough, hard hitting house music with interwoven drums and bass that get right under your skin and make you move, while synths and percussion peel off the busy groove. Blunted then marries warped basslines and crisp claps with woodpecker hits. It is atmospheric, stripped back but effective house that makes an immediate mark. The remix of In the District by fast rising UK talent Ben Sterling is another brilliantly direct track with prying bass loops, freaky vocal echoes and a late night sense of mischief. 

This is another vital offering from Do Not Sleep.

PIV034 comes from the acclaimed studio of distinguished German producer Sidney Charles, who is widely regarded for his authentic musical approach in the art of soundmaking. Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.
