Formed in Newmarket, Ontario in 1981 the band (then called Tokyo) performed in the bar and club circuit until they signed an international record deal with Capitol Records in 1985. Their debut album, The Thin Red Line, rocketed up the charts to become the fastest selling debut in Canadian history. Glass Tiger released their fifth studio album "33" in 2019 and their first Holiday release "Songs For A Winter's Night" in 2020.
