The title track of the American rap super-star and music entrepreneur’s new album “4:44” is built around “Late Nights & Heartbreak” which is also the title track of Hannah Williams & The Affirmations’ latest album, released by Record Kicks last November. The album, which comes four years after Hov’s last work “Magna Carta Holy Grail”, is produced by No I.D., already known for his works with Kanye West, Common and Jay-Z.  Quoting Jay-Z: '4:44' it's the crux of the album, I woke up, literally, at 4:44 in the morning to write this song... It's the title track because it's such a powerful song, and I just believe one of the best songs I've ever written”.

Last year, the band released their fourth critically acclaimed album I Love You So F**ing Much, a sci-fi-infused odyssey about love, connection, and what it means to feel real in a surreal world. It arrived alongside a 44-date world tour that included headlining The O2 Arena in London and Madison Square Gardens in New York. Frontman Dave Bayley — also one of pop’s most in-demand producers — writes and produces every song, often with an experimental DIY edge that blurs the lines between music, tech and visual art.
