It was Written and recorded about lockdown during lockdown. Some strange things happened while I was writing this track. I’ll never forget how strange and eerie that lockdown was, no planes in the sky , no people or cars in the streets, Empty supermarket shelves.... and then there was the silence, but through the silence you could hear the birds, hear the wind blowing thorough the trees.. there was so much beauty among the chaos. That’s what this song is about.

In 2004, Joel co-founded London based band Howling Bells who recorded and toured with bands such as Coldplay, The Killers and Snow Patrol. Critically acclaimed and artistically inspired, Howling Bells created a strong identity in Joel as a guitarist and songwriter. Often praised and respected for his unique style of playing, Joel gained quite the name for himself wolrldwide.
With some time after the bands recording in Las Vegas Joel found himself embarking on a new adventure, Glassmaps.
A sound which draws deeply upon his life experiences.
