I finally saw what I couldn't see before: metal wings that wouldn't fly, shoes worn from being out in the rain, the mole on her left cheek. Imperfection. The angel cupped my cheek in her hands. With a sad smile on her face, she said to me "You are not alone. Because we both hurt just the same." And I never saw her again.

Alright! This is the 5th and final track for the Music for the Dead demo I've been working on, and I'm glad to say it all just sort of fell together with this one. Those dark feels are powerful friends :o For me, this means time to go back and polish all the tracks while I find a vocalist to collab with. That said, if you're a vocalist... or you know one... hmu, know what I'm sayin?
