Niemal pół roku od mojej wizyty w Seulu ponownie przecinają się nasze ścieżki. Z guest mixem dla Burn The Roots nadciąga wybitny koreański selektor Philipp Kim. To dj związany z kultowym undergroundowym klubem vurt, ulokowanym w sercu Hapjeong-dong w stolicy Korei Południowej.

Jego imersyjny warm-up podczas grudniowej nocy w vurt utwierdził mnie w przekonaniu, że największe didżejskie talenty, pasjonaci muzyki elektronicznej, są poukrywani w małych klubach, na lokalnych scenach całego świata. Czują miejsce, czas, potrzeby danej imprezy i danego crowdu. Philipp miksuje do tego na obłędnym poziomie technicznym, a stylistyka, w której się porusza doskonale odzwierciedla atmosferyczne, głębokie, a zarazem zadziorne, offbeatowe oblicze naszej audycji.

Born and raised in Haan, a town between Düsseldorf and Cologne, DJ Klosing’s love for electronic music began 10 years ago when he first went partying in Cologne. 

He started djing not long after and had his first club gig 6 years ago. In 2018 he started his first residency in the infamous underground club Basements Solingen alongside his partners in crime with which he started their own label in 2020, which is known as Sekt Sellz Rekordz . 

In the same year his second residency started with the party series Pista from Lucerne (CH). 3 years ago he started their wednesday party series “Bergfest “ at their beloved Kunstbar.
