Better Off Alone (Glejs Remix)

Aquatic Ambiance doesn't really need any further introduction. It might be one of the most loved pieces of videogame music of all time, and therefore remixed a million times already.

With my take on it, I decided to try and paint a story. The track takes you from the mellow start of "diving in", through passages of the original melody lines and arpeggios but with my twist to them. Also, some brand new original melodic elements and strings arrangements have been implemented. Might be a bold move, but I believe it fits perfectly. 

By the end of the song, you've reached the shore, exhausted and happy that you made it. Hopefully it was a fantastic journey, filled with adventure.

Glejs is a one man project located in the middle parts of Sweden. Ever since he was a little kid he always had a special place in his heart for music and sound. Around summer 1996 he was introduced by a friend to a shareware music program called “Fasttracker 2”… Glejs was immediatly hooked, and later that year he bought himself his first PC. Composing music quickly became his favourite hobby. 

Music styles range from electro & trance/techno to drumnbass & videogame influenced melodic stuff. All kinds of electronica. He is also making his own covers, and remixing stuff. Mostly videogame music #VGM ^^
