I started using music jargon. Let me explain:

Bass: lowest male voice part
Tenor 2/Barit: middle male voice parts (If it's 4 part, baritone is always the second lowest, and tenor 2 the second highest)
Tenor 1: highest male voice part
Alto: you usually don't split at any point. If you do the lower one is 2 and the higher one is 1
Sop 2: lower female soprano part
Sop 1: highest female soprano part

Hopefully this helps you. I was getting tired of being really wordy when labelling them..
