Elemental Vol. 8 continues the journey begun in Vol. 1, returning to the meeting point of nature and circuitry where country becomes techno and techno becomes country. The project carries forward the Elemental idea — that music, like weather or landscape, isn’t a metaphor but a living force that moves through us.

The sound remains tactile and porous: guitars still breathe, synths still shimmer, but the pulse runs deeper now, steadier, like groundwater finding its course beneath open fields. The arrangements move between organic drift and machine precision — footstep and kick drum, heartbeat and bassline — tracing a quiet dialogue between wilderness and pattern. It’s not fusion so much as coexistence: a music that sounds both handmade and algorithmic, campfire and circuitry, soil and signal.

The Earth Remembers

This song was one of the first I ever wrote. I couldn’t get the delicate voice from Birdy’s early recordings out of my head, and I began to imagine how she might have written and performed such a song. In the end, this piece became a love letter (within my humble means 😉) to the music of Birdy.

Here now the remastered 2025 Version. I hope you (and Birdy) will like it.

“Whispered Love” tells the story of a young woman searching for hope and tenderness in moments of loneliness. Through quiet nights and gentle awakenings, she discovers that love can appear in silence — as a whisper, a breath, a reflection in moonlight. The song moves from sorrow to serenity, from fragile longing to acceptance. It is about finding peace in vulnerability, and about the soft power of love that doesn’t need to be loud to be true.
