This new rendition swaps out traditional balafon and kora sounds in favor of 80's-inspired synths and funky stratch guitar licks over bass lines over which even the most reverent of disco aficionados will swoon.

Welcome, friends!  For those who don't yet know me, I'm a Los Angeles-based creative expressing myself primarily through deejaying, event production and graphic design.  I'm best known as half of the deejay duo at Santa Monica's legendary AFRO FUNKE weekly afroboogie event alongside Jeremy Sole, as well as having east side residencies at ECLECTICA and LA JUNTA.
