Kandilari & Kunterweiß - Monday Blues

Everyone gets confused sometimes. There can be various reasons for this. Sometimes it´s unlikely events, sometimes it´s a lack of concentration. But sometimes it´s also the dubious views of some people that confuse us and leave us with a question mark. 

It is precisely this feeling that Kolja picks up on in his new EP “Acid Schwurbler” and transports it into an audible experience. His sounds are often on the edge of comprehensibility, but at the same time they arouse interest because they are difficult to categorize. 

Or in other words: it´s already morning and you´re still on the dance floor wondering where the time has gone and what´s actually going on here. This is exactly when you might come across our dear friends Pulli & Chomba and Überhaupt & Außerdem - musically or truly. They are experts in such moments and know exactly how to make them happen. At the age of 87, when asked about the lesson his long life had taught him, the philosopher Bertrand Russell had a simple, twofold message - one part being rational and the other moral. He advised us, who live long after his death, to consider all the facts, whether we like them or not, but above all to choose love over hate - to be tolerant and not antagonistic. In this field between facts and what we make of them, between cold logic and caring understanding, we are called to calm down, reflect and listen to our inner voice.

This EP is an invitation to do just that, be it at a festival, in nature or the comfort of our home. Warm and playful, powerful and intricate, arousing and soothing, it is a bridge between a open eyed summer dream and a vibrating dance floor; a slow melodic journey, whose fullness embraces us, while its tingling details call us on. A bouquet of remixes by Narcisse (Mex), Seyde, LVND, Jonas Fasching and Jati Div adds some check, bounce and drive to get those dreamy booties shaking.
