Juhuuu es gibt mal wieder ne zharte Rakäthe! Aber was war das für ne knappe Nummer?! Rakäthe liegt mit Covid im Hangar – es ist unklar, ob sie’s überhaupt rechtzeitig wieder rausschafft, während @zhart sich seine Masterarbeit drei Tage vor Abgabe um die Ohren haut. Zum Glück hat’s der Flow mal wieder geregelt und beide stehen genesen und gemastert Samstag Nacht im Kater auf der Matte. Da gab’s diesmal also mal wieder mehr als nur einen Grund zu Feiern.. Und eine ziemliche Abfahrt – der Kuckuck hat gebebt! Was für ein Vibe! Wir sind so unfassbar dankbar, solche Abenteuer – umgeben von den tollsten Menschen erleben und mitgestalten zu dürfen. Riesiges Dankeschön an alle, die neuneinhalb Stunden lang diese Stimmung und Energie auf den Floor gezaubert haben. Den Übergang zwischen unseren beiden Sets gibt’s jetzt für alle, die nochmal mit der zharten Rakäthe durch den Kater fliegen wollen.  LIEBE 🚀♥️

What a way to kick off the new year! 

Since my last recording from Kater Blau  a "Haufen Wasser ist die Lahn runtergelaufen" as we say in my hometown. Over 50k plays (thank you! 🐈‍⬛)  and so many beautiful gigs later its time for a sequel! 🌈

Last sunday morning at 9 I was welcomed by the most colorful gang of cats. @2girls1club firing up the Acid Bogen with there best selected House Music I had the privilege to take over the flauschiest crowd. 

It's always such a big privilege to play these Berlin mornings. The happy, slightly high faces, the frizzling tension in the air, bodies moving, touching each other, laughing, kissing and living together to the fullest. How it is supposed to be. I'm so thankful for the trust all of you guys set in me over and over again! 😌🙏

Thanks for the beautiful compliments afterwards that make me come up with the title: "das hat gehallert" to "ordentlich das Geweih verhallert" bis zu "vom Haller feinsten". You're just amazing! ✨🫶

It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

It was truly special to be on the road with our lovely Tippy family, traveling and performing together as crew. :)

Unfortunately, my recorder’s battery ran out near the end, so the last 30 minutes are missing.

Immer hungrig und Bock auf frechen Midtempo Bounce. Geschmäcker sind ja bekanntlich verschieden, aber runtergepitcht serviert es sich laut Stellson & Špii einfach saftiger. Als Vorspeise gab es leider nur ein paar von Špii's Haaren, dafür nun als Hauptgang einen mit ganz viel Liebe gekochten Podcast.

another month, another festival recording :)
digging trough my recordings of the last summer, i found this wild recording of my gig during night of the magical chillfloor of the wurzelfestival.
the floor is hosted by my friends of the fairycircus & i was working as a stagemanager, so i had a very cozy time!

the set is pretty energetic & at some points experimenal - we start with some funkydeeplybouncy downtempo, then transform into a very crazy peak with massively pitched-down psytrance & finish with some softer & catchier mid-tempo to have a smoother landing after the crazy peak.

especially the pitched-down psytrance might not be the style, you expect - i really started to love expermenting with it last year, as it creates a certain energy. :)

i hope, you enjoy going on a energetic journey with this set! :)
