Older, hopefully wiser, after a 2-year period where I wasn't interested in music anymore, something completely alien to me, a chance night out has rekindled my love for house music. Pieced together an overkill sound system with a cheap controller in my shed, currently just enough room for one.  Back to where I started years ago, inspired by some great new school music with the old school sound, here is the result of the first shed session for your ears.

For the 22nd edisode in our growing Elevate.Berlin mix series, we're delighted to welcome one of our favourite DJ, producer and label bosses coming out of the land of the rising sun. Tokyo's @yoshi-horino and his @unknown-season imprint have become synonymous with raw, soulful and understated house music. He began DJing in 1991 and has seen the global rise of House music ever unfolding throughout Japan and further afield across the globe while his label was launched in 2010 and has since gone on to release material from many reputed figures in the contemporary House scene. Last week, a friend who used to manage my website over 20 years ago found a mix in his archives. It dates back to 2001. It’s always very special for me to go delve into my memories. To find out what music I was playing at that time. I was 26, and I had already found my identity in the way I mixed and how to tell a story with my vinyl.

So this may be the last recording for 2024 at Globus. 
My contract is up at Globus in Tresor.
We started as a risk 2017 being in a Techno driven culture. AND IT WORKED.
I am grateful for the chance to have had great selectors and great moments at my beloved Globus! Mad Love & respect to the staff! all of them.
I am not saying it's over...Yet!!!....We will see!
Underground House music is timeless and one must be educated from when it started to present. One must be Educated on Delivery and Reading the floor. One must know how to cross Genres! Take Risk! After all it's Big Room!
Above all else The selector must be Selfless but with a purpose. 
DJ'S must have the gift of DeeJaying. To be able to connect to the different energy's in the room. Be able to read the reaction to the different rhythms and beats...and volume!
Pitch is also Key!!!
