So there I am, making a cover of Megalovania, when I realized I hadn't written any jazz in a while. 

So I did.

In the process I found out a certain quote of "Something About Us" by Daft Punk almost fits in perfectly to a part of Megalovania.  Shenanigans were had.  Fucks were not given.

Using a picture of Papyrus (made by a talented artist at  tinypapyrus.tumblr.com ! ) instead of the character related to Megalovania in the event people still haven't played the game.  If you haven't...  why in the fuck haven't you bought and played Undertale yet?

I fell in love with this song when I discovered it in Beatmania IIDX, and one day decided to see if I could cover this through the limitation of 8 channels provided by the Famicom with a VRC6 module.

This song has haunted my soul since the moment I heard it.  Like a parasite, it fed off of me with every chance it had, and I could never tear away from it.  The song resonates something within me that makes me tear up, until recently without failure.  I knew one of the only ways it would get better would be if I recreated it.  I had to try to get it out of my head, and hopefully become desensitized enough that it wouldn't haunt me like a beautifully-depressing addiction.

I can only imagine the emotions one had to go through in order to come up with a beautiful, sad song...  and if that really is the case, you have my sympathies along with my respect, Toby.

Fuck.
