Determined to get it done, Pegassi packed his DJ setup, took it on a flight to Berlin, and recorded the mixtape in his hotel room in one take before playing at a gig. The result is a raw, authentic blend of his favourite tracks at the moment, including some personal favourites he’s been blasting in the car. Pegassi is the musical persona of Sam Huybrecht from Antwerp, Belgium. He first gained attention when his remix of ‘No Type’ shot to #1 on SoundCloud’s global charts. His sound blends techno, trance, house, and hip-hop, and has caught the attention of industry heavyweights like Anetha, Patrick Mason, TRYM, VTSS, and Joyhauser.

Pegassi has performed at major events such as Intercell, Modul’air, Die Rakete, and the legendary Pukkelpop festival. His track ‘Yoyoyo’ became a club anthem, earning support from top DJs including Solomun and Joris Voorn.
