Swinging On A Rhyme is a fun and upbeat funky party tune that has been a big hit, taking it back to Fort Knox Five’s classic track The Brazilian Hipster.

For this new release, Fort Knox Five has assembled the original version together with two banging remixes and the instrumentals of all three tracks.  When Fort Knox Five made a funky swing track on their new album, it was a no-brainer to call on Bart & Baker to do a remix. The Paris duo are well known for their ‘house music with a smile and a style.”  The Bart & Baker remix is a DJs dream, perfect for any set or mix with smooth electro swing and a funky house vibe, creating a seriously infectious groove.   The next remix is by San Francisco’s Warp9, who has dropped the bass and funked up the track in a heavy way. These tunes can be used as dance-floor fillers, after-party vibe-setters, or the backdrop for wistful days staring out a rainy window. @ScourRecords’ latest addition has crafted these four atmospheric funk-ed out glitch tracks, and within lies something for everyone in Vancara's debut EP - Railroad.

First comes title-track 'Railroad', a super-technical head-nodder which would fit nicely in the soundtrack of a futuristic spaghetti western. Next comes 'Going East', an ethereal bass-monster with infectious disco leads and Vancara’s own super slick piano playing. 'City Street Jam' follows that, a melodic chilled number which oozes laid back sunshiny vibes. Then, last but by no means least, comes 'Disco Balls' - an uptempo burner that’ll turn your dance floors into a fun time free-for-all.

All that’s left to say is, ‘warmest of welcomes to the team, Vancara!’ Hailing from Winchester (UK), we’re hoping that he’ll be stuck in his lab crafting more sumptuous beats for us while we’re all sat at home waiting for all this to blow over.
