The part of me that wants to die 
Finds escapism in my art
A safe place to rest my head
While the weight of the world rushes by

I am afraid of the power of art to influence 
Both good and bad; no matter your intentions
You can never fully predict the outcome.

Did I help or was it a missed opportunity,
Steps on the journey I need to make.

The first time I experienced insta-fan,
Was someone I came to know a bit.
But younger than me, they didn’t make it.

And so sits this power of, could I have done more.
Could my art have helped if I was able to make more of it.

The answer is truthfully, yes.
Maybe not in this specific circumstance but someway somehow it will find its way to person who needs it.

Of course art will not be perfect, that is never the goal.
The goal is the journey your work must take.

I am tired of fighting for the space in the world for me to do this without the burdens of capitalism like a gun to my head. I have a specific trauma that amplifes that effect.

I want to borrow into my home safe and alone, like forming my cacoon. Giving me the freedom to become goo, the freedom to reform and the freedom to emerge. I shouldn’t have to list my personal tragedies to get support in a society where countless lives are not seen as having innate value. Where I was a Mad Person confined. It should be my right as a human being to be given space to evolve into who I am meant to be; the verison of myself I see.

He is hot. He is powerful.
