Beautiful Noise

This song is a bit different for us, it was inspired by a trip I took to New York city to see the band, Stepdad. On the train back home I was still buzzed from the sights and sounds of the city and the lyrics came to me in the early morning hours at 45mph. Musically this song emphasizes inspirational guitar chords and subtle synth atmospheres to carry the emotionally charged lyrics. "These Neon Lights!" becomes the rally cry for a hopelessly optimistic post-9/11 generation.

Glitterlust is a queer discopunk/synthpop band from Washington D.C., in less than a year they have gained a reputation around the area for their outrageous live shows which often feature burlesque dancers, elaborate costumes, stripping teddybears and explosive confetti. They recently released their self produced debut album, Chaos Magic and continue to perform up and down the east coast. 

Saturn Song

This is the first solid track we've written for the new album, the rest of the album is still very much in its infancy and nowhere near ready, however we really love this song and are eager to share it. We will start performing it in our live shows soon and it's sort of the first taste of the new direction we're headed in, both musically and visually. Enjoy!

Summer Diamonds

Glitterlust is an electrorock band based out of the VA/DC area. Musically influenced by 80's new wave, synthpop, glam rock, and industrial music, our lyrics often explore concepts of sex and sexuality from a larger than life point of view.
