Let me tell you why I made this:
(It's very petty and salty, it's about 5 years of anger bottled up at a city)
I live in Austin. My type of music is not accepted in this scene. For the entire time I've been making music in this city I have been told that basically no one will ever like my music without being told straight to my face, or ya know, being told my music sucks. But now, I have had ALBUMS back to back, produced, mixed, written, all by me, IN MY BEDROOM that have done well and people love. So you can not tell me I suck. You suck. You're close minded and you just won't give me a chance. You're stuck chasing trap metal or whatever is trending when I am trying to be original, be myself. I have numbers and reviews that prove yes my music is objectively considered good. Yes I can get a crowd hype. You just don't even give me a chance because I'm not a lil darkie clone or summrs' clone 356. It's funny because some of the people in the scene in this city only got involved because in school I was the first to make music. Think about that. Now they want nothing to do with me. I'm not gonna say my music has been good for the entire time I've been doing this, but damn the numbers ain't lying now. Get off your god complex. - YTR Forever (The name came from the fact I was talking about this on my instagram story this morning, and some dude who I forgot why he was following me or who he was, posted that shit in response on his without tagging me like I wouldn't see lol, the post is in the cover art.
