Amaury de Jamblinne has always dreamed of a solo round-the-world voyage via the three Great Capes. The Global Solo Challenge is the perfect opportunity for him to make that dream a reality. His passion for the sea developed at an early age and he feels comfortable and instinctive when sailing. He understands that apprehension and anxiety are a natural regulators and safety valves when it comes to the power of the oceans. Amaury's boat, Tagaora, is not the fastest in the fleet, but it is perfectly adapted to the Global Solo Challenge. Amaury estimates his journey at 150 days, and the most important thing for him is to finish the adventure. Amaury is still looking for sponsors and hopes to contribute to a scientific project during his voyage.
