(...) The pandemic 2020 took away the most fun of being in the club scene, sharing stages with brilliant interesting dreamers showing and exchanging visions performing music. Under these strange conditions Molø and Harald ended up sharing a physical stage at the stream festival United We Stream. One thing led to the other and Harald took a deep dive into Molø‘s great melodic techno universe. Sometimes you find gold in your own hometown. Molø’s take on Waldmeister builds on the mellow arpeggio from the original track and brings it to one perfect chilled for the after hours. Imagine watching the sunrise to this beauty.

Christian Löffler & Fejká - Fjäll is out now! I’m really excited and happy for this release, not only for the music but also for the story behind it. 

When I was 17, I sent Christian a demo of my song “Moonlight” when he invited me to his label @Ki_Records . He started becoming my mentor and always supported my work since then which really helped me to grow and become a full time artist. Now, almost 8 years later, we played numerous shows together and became good friends. We often show us new demos for feedback and talk about them. When Christian sent me the demo of “Fjäll” I immediately had an idea on how to continue the song so the feedback discussion became a spontaneous collaboration :)

Thank you guys for listening to my music and sending me messages and comments, It always boosts my motivation to make more music. Thank you @christianloeffler and the team of @ki_records who have always been like a second family for me.

Anjunadeep warmly welcomes two label debutants in Moscow’s Nikola Melnikov & Max Sorokin. An established composer, pianist and electronic live act, Melnikov’s refined compositions have seen him perform around the world, including shows at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, Stockholm City Hall, and Moscow’s Red Square. 

Collaborating with producer Max Sorokin, Melnikov presents two graceful tracks imbued with intricate piano lines and deep electronic sound design. A-side ’Sun Wakes Up Earlier Than All’ invokes its title imagery with soaring strings, whilst ‘Pandawa’ features bellowing percussion and a mesmeric chord progression.

German producer Ryan Davis returns to Anjunadeep with double-cut ‘Waves / Hold On’. Over the past 10 years, Davis has carved out a niche all of his own, releasing exquisite melodic techno and electronica on revered labels Bedrock, Traum, and his own Klangwelt label. Along the way, he’s been championed by Sasha, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo and John Digweed, and collaborated with Max Cooper and Applescal.

Davis showcases his club-centric side in ‘Waves’ and ‘Hold On’. Stepping back from the ambient aesthetic of his last ‘Home EP’, Davis blends analogue sound design and soothing percussive rhythm in two immersive techno tracks.
