Recorded during the pandemic, this album consists of six tracks crafted entirely in Renoise using mostly free VST plugins. This release features music influenced by hardcore, breakcore, industrial, dancehall, and Latin rhythms driven by an onslaught of distorted kicks, metallic clangs, and broken beats.
WMX revisits old plugins and samples and combines them with new sounds and ideas to create these tracks dealing with grief, loss, and alienation.
Even when it feels impossible to go on, the currents of time carry us into an uncertain future.
