In this episode, Merkaba Music presents ÅPÍS and this live set that contains tracks from his latest EP "‘The Åpìs Experience’", older tracks and some from other producers as well. Åpìs is Ori Shevach, a music producer who lives in Israel. Ori’s music combines some Jazz atmospheres, funky grooves, deep bass and new sound design, to take the listener to a new experience through dance. Dejalum, a psydub/psychill artist from the outskirts of Santiago, Chile, presents his debut release on Mindspring: Singularities, a delicate fusion of downtempo psybass/psydub music sprinkled with just the right amount of mind-bending psychedelic textures overlaying playful head-bobbing beats.

Jose Ascui began his musical journey at the age of 13, inspired by rock and roll music to play the guitar his father gave him. A multi-instrumentalist by the age of 18, Jose had learned to play multiple wind instruments while in school for Electrical Civil Engineering.

Being inspired by his first music festival, Montemapu, Jose was intrigued by the signature sounds of Ott, Bluetech, Androcell, Kaminanda, Kalya Scintilla, and Quanta. These artists would go on to be a heavy influence in his music production.

Mindspring is proud to release Jose’s debut release: Singularities. Four delightful pieces of psychedelic sonic ear-candy, this is truly a Mindspring release not to look over.

Unusual and alternative sounds, experimentation in rhythm and melodic alterations: all of this is The Flying Mars project. Mario Engel, hailing from the green valleys in the middle of the Swiss Alps, was always in contact with different genres and had a good ear for many kinds of music. Now, with his “The Flying Mars” project he wants to channel all of his auditory and composing experiences into a mind-bending mix of creativity, giving his contribution to the already variegated world of electronic music.

The Flying Mars combines Psy-Dub, Ambient, Psy-Chill, as well as Drum & Bass and Psy-Trance, with flowing rhythms and deep bass lines. Through variations, mixing, tests and sonic atom splitting, The Flying Mars’ project strives to simultaneously stimulate mind, body and soul.
