Home of names such as T>I, Filthy Habits, Saxxon, Leaf, Vital, Euphonique and Bass Antics, Murky Digital has risen from strength to strength with every release its unleashed. Led by Elsta, well known for picking a wealth of talent for his label, it’s become a notable force within the club scene. And this continues with their forthcoming release, one which has pulled together four brand new tracks from producer Agro, as well as a fresh rework from Guzi.

As the founder of Sub-Liminal Recordings and Redrum, and with releases on Dread Recordings, Bio-Beats, Serial Killaz and more, Agro has already established himself within the realm of producers making their music heard to the worldwide audience of drum & bass. Beginning with the sounds of ‘The Dirty South (Krunk)’, Agro lets you know what you’re in for throughout this project. With stabs of bass and rolling breaks, the producer goes for the gullet and it’s a track which would reverberate throughout any DJ set with its hefty drum sequences. Following in quick succession is ‘Presence’, another slice of bass-driven chaos which slaps with every meticulously crafted groove. Jumping between its drops, Agro keeps it rolling throughout. ‘Don’t Step’ follows suit, just as destructive alongside a bassline which cuts through to the tracks core and gives it a hefty weight. With the track standing midway on the selection, Agro proves that he’s not pulling the brakes anytime soon.

Mentah then joins Agro on ‘Mantis’, with the formidable pairing doing damage although this time through more experimental tones. With Mentah also appearing in the catalogue of Sub-Liminal, the merging of their production prowess make its impact through ‘Mantis’. Brighton based Guzi then has his take on Agro’s ‘The Dirty South’. The producer has already seen support from the likes of Grooverider, Spectrasoul, Serum and Benny Page - with the calibre of this remix, it is likely to gain the same backing.

Alongside Guzi and Mentah, Agro makes his presence felt within the discography of Murky Digital. Once more catching the attention of fans throughout the world.
