Starting out as a just a conversational idea over facebook in January 2012 by Scott Sellers taking the vocal and lyric writer position and Chris Beal taking the lead guitars and main music composing department, the idea of GLOOMLURKER began, after several conversations and idea throwing, they enlisted the services of former WINGS OF ICARUS and SKAREKROW guitarist Liam Metcalfe and also brought on
Stuart Harvey in the drumming position.

After just one practice they knew they were on to something of a distinctive sound, shortly after a few jamming sessions they played there first gig at Cue World in Grimsby at a local charity gig and received a very excellent reception and some decent feedback.

Next leg of the journey they had a bassist called Lewis Jackson request to join after hearing us, they were now a complete 5 piece.

Jump ahead in the future now after several fantastic gigs and some not so fantastic gigs and some very good internet and crowd reviews they decided to hit the studio, over 2 days GLOOMLURKER recorded there debut EP "Realm Of Swallowed Souls" with Chris Johnson of Fractured Sound based in Scunthorpe featuring four original songs and a cover of Nirvana's Breed.

Now the band come to August, the band parted ways with drummer Stuart Harvey and bassist Lewis Jackson due to their own reasons.

The next chapters are due to be written but so far the band would like to thank all the friends, the families and of course the fans for there die hard and loyal support even through the most hectic of times.
