GLOOM (NL) – BIOGRAPHY

Gloom, whose real name is Milan van den Horn, was born in 1984 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In 2011 he co-founded <a href="http://www.facebook.com/compoundmusic">Compound Music</a>, known for the Compound parties at Studio 80 and their stage at the Mystic Garden Festival. As well as being a regular jury member at the TWSTd DJ contest since 2013.

As a passionate DJ, Gloom seeks to play dark and moody techno that hits you in the face. His wide taste for music and playing for more than 15 years greatly reflects in his techno sets, where you can hear raw techno and forgotten gems.

Unique about Gloom is the Compound sound which was formed during his residency at Studio80. He will create that special vibe, whether opening a small club or closing a bigroom stage, controlling the crowd, taking them on a trip.
