Spiritual Woman

Gloria started singing at three years old in her parens' home under the training of her mother and father, the late great Willie W. Caver. She started singing in the church choir at age 13 at Trinity Baptist Church in Buffalo, NY. She formed and was the lead singer of the group The Fabulous Lavells, under the management of the late Eddie Robinson Jr., her husband. The Fabulous Lavells performed at the Plaza Theatre on Williams Street, opening up for nationally-known R.W. Shambach, at The Famous Pine Grill Lounge, The Lucky Clover, Little Harlem, etc. in Buffalo, NY. They also performed at the Beadumn Center in Pittsburg, PA, for Morris Cerullo. And the Lord's Church in Monroeville, PA for the late Archie Dennis, who gave her the microphone. She also performed at One in Christ Church, Jay Codwell and the Ambassadors in Buffalo, NY.
