I love the way the chords never go quite where one might expect them to. Goes on a wonderful textural journey too. I love the mixture of real and synthesised sounds too

Thanks John!  One of the instruments I played on this was bass guitar... my first recording attempt on it.  You'll recall that I had an interest in the instrument.  I finally succumbed and bought an Epiphone EB3...

...cheap and cheerful but I love it, and it does have that early Jack Bruce vibe!

Really like the references: backward sounds, ‘cellos, mellotron etc. and the line that is reminiscent of Billy Strange’s guitar on Pet Sounds.

... I occasionally think back to the LCM big  and and your innovative arrangements.  Would be interesting to hear them again now!
