We release 2023 and embrace the black canvas as we wait for new light to emerge. It is time to lay the foundations for a new chapter of our lives in alignment with our true selves. 

2024 is an important year, we can no longer operate from conformity and fear; it’s time to act consciously and with congruency, in connection with moments of beauty and joy in the day-to-day, in connection with the Earth, with emotional awareness and sacred reciprocity.

This ambient sonotherapy set was designed specifically to initiate this process, to cleanse, and to guide us as we return to our body and integrate emotions from our center. 

All of the tracks contain instruments, keys, and natural elements that emit certain frequencies that connect to specific energetic points in the body. They can trigger emotions; if you feel a sense of discomfort during the set, breathe through it and surrender; it will pass and is part of the journey.

This set moves between all original live moments and music I love and back. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to play this festival and am ever grateful to those who entrusted me with a 3.5-hour journey into the sunrise.

It was my first Boom and I had heard many things about this festival, and feel so lucky to have experienced its magic. People have a lot of opinions on large festivals,there's always going to be smaller, more unique places to be,but I was blown away by Boom. I spent much of the 3 days I was there roaming alone, marveling at the spectacle of such a place. I'm mostly introverted, and these places often aren't my first choice to hang out, but I had a ball at Boom.

Thanks to everyone who danced into the morning, it was so special, I hope this recording can be a memoir of your first evening at Boom <3

Earthly Measures 30th release welcomes Chilean artist DJ Raff back on the label.

Inspired by the dizzying passage of time, the idea of living several lives within one, and the shifting emotional states we inhabit — each with its own weight and significance — the producer delivers a record that balances evocation and movement. On Daydreaming, nostalgic tones intertwine with percussive layers and danceable rhythms, striking a fine line between the introspective and the physical.

Analogue photography plays a central role in the creative process. As Raff explains: “When I’m wandering around with my camera, I feel more present than ever in the moment. I love analogue photography and the dreamy aesthetic it creates. Having only 36 shots on a roll and not being able to see the results immediately forces me to slow down and observe everyday reality differently. Things that would normally go unnoticed suddenly reveal themselves.”

Daydreaming will be available on all digital platforms from 3 October, marking the 30th release from London-based label Earthly Measures.

“Time” is the first single from DJ Raff’s forthcoming EP Daydreaming, set for release on 3 October 2025 via London label Earthly Measures. The track was crafted through layered sound experiments that evoke nostalgia and an acute awareness of time passing — how life unfolds in distinct stages, each with its own weight and significance. While imbued with a reflective, bittersweet mood, “Time” pulses on a dembow rhythm, keeping it both danceable and deeply emotive.
