Hola a tod@s, regresamos con nuestra serie de podcast, y ya van 99! Esta vez, el turno es para Mazi, uno de los miembros de UEMA.
Mazi lleva muchos años tras los platos y ha pasado por infinidad de estilos, buena cuenta de ello son las sesiones que nos ha ido ofreciendo en nuestro sótano favorito a lo largo de estos últimos años. Gracias a él hemos bailado ritmos lentos de Techno profundo y mental, hemos sudado Ácido y quemado suela con sus Breaks.
Y es que Mazi no se deja encasillar y cada sesión es un discurso, cada vez más elaborado y haciendo gala de su técnica, directa e impecable. Sin duda, Mazi, es uno de los talentos locales que nunca falla.
En este viaje Mazi, nos muestra parte de su artillería Electro con una paleta de sonidos muy amplia donde poco a poco nos va llevando a una zona de baile llena de humo y de luz estroboscópica.

Vincent Koreman a.k.a. @drvgcvltvre lleva unas cuantas décadas cultivando su mezcla perfecta entre Techno, Electro y Acid, variando de velocidad según le apetece, pero sin quitar un ápice de intensidad ni de oscuridad. Su alto volumen de trabajo hace que publique casi todo a través de su sello New York Haunted, pero sus producciones han brillado también en sellos de renombre como Pinkman, Viewlexx, Shipwrec, Permanent Vacation u OMNIDISC. En este nuevo lanzamiento a través del sello NNY vuelve a destacar de todo el pelotón gracias a cuatro estupendos cortes que transitan entre el Techno lento, denso y épico con toques ácidos y ambientes nebulosos (A Lion Sinester, Dead And Gone); el Electro más sucio y correoso (Serbian Ballerinas) y el Acid más abrasivo y serio que te puedas encontrar en la pista de baile (You Smell Like Cheetos And Sadness).

Vincent Koreman a.k.a. Drvg Cvltvre has been cultivating its perfect mix of Techno, Electro and Acid for a few decades, varying speed as his gusto, but without removing an iota of intensity or darkness. His high volume of work means that he publishes almost everything through his New York Haunted label, but his productions have also shone on renowned labels such as Pinkman, Viewlexx, Shipwrec, Permanent Vacation or OMNIDISC. In this new release through NNY Records, he again stands out from the rest of the producers thanks to four great tracks that move between slow, dense and epic Techno with acid touches and hazy environments (A Lion Sinester, Dead and Gone); the dirtiest and leatheriest Electro (Serbian Ballerinas) and the most abrasive and serious Acid you can find on the dance floor (You Smell Like Cheetos And Sadness).

Muy influenciado por el sonido Detroit de los 90 en clave Techno, Electro o House y el IDM, Flavio ha sabido crear su propio universo musical, ofreciendo como Ideograma su versión más Techno y Electro, y como Dj F su faceta House, Soul, Funk y Breaks.

Este virtuosismo y bagaje musical le han hecho pasear su maleta por infinidad de salas, provocando el goce del personal. Y es fácil pillarlo girando discos casi cualquier finde.

Como productor, F no se queda atrás, tracks llenos de alma, donde se aprecian los matices de su extenso conocimiento musical y que no han pasado inadvertidos para sellos como Semántica, Titan’s Halo, Freebeat, Eleve, A Harmless Deed o Frigio Records. Ahí podréis encontrar trabajos suyos como Dj F, Ideograma o Acid Future Overdose.

En 2015, Flavio arranca su propio sello Prayers For The Long Life y ya lleva 5 referencias muy recomendables.

Además de todo esto Ideograma es conocido por ser uno de los dueños de la mítica tienda Palma 39, un espacio donde conviven 2 tiendas Recycled Music Center, del mismo F, e Industrias Mekanikas. Esta simbiosis hace que Palma 39 disponga de uno de los stocks más interesantes que te puedes encontrar, con cubetas cargadas de novedades que puntualmente reciben y con un old stock medalla de oro. Sin duda, tienda de visita obligada para todo buen amante del vinilo.

Hailing from Paris, duo Amor Satyr & Siu Mata make their debut on NHS with two mutated dance hall inspired cuts laden with manic energy and seriously hard drum work. Following up their debut collaboration on Hiedrah Club de Baile comprised of two tracks focused on the 150bpm range, the pair slow down things to around the 100bpm mark. This has no effect on the frantic energy however, as both releases maintain a level of madness through the double time percussion programming and warped melodic aesthetics; an offering of truly innovative club tracks from these two fine producers.
