‘Non Ce L’Hai Solo Tu' is a Detroit-infused, fierce floor filler. Layering vocoder motifs with crisp synth stabs make for many a euphoric payoff. The intelligent entwining of electro, early Detroit house and Ma Spaventi’s effortless earworms are plentiful. His gift for haunting, strong melodic intonation is prevalent in ‘Costa Brava.’ A grounded, growling bassline rasps throughout the track, reeling you further and further into this whirlpool of brilliance.

‘Tornerò Reprise’ closes this magnificent EP beautifully. Whispering vocal lines are hauntingly blended with synthesiser noise, keeping in line with the swells across the record and resolving the first edition of ‘Tornerò’ with a more acidic conclusion.

Cabizbajo, the moniker of Roberto Escobosa, emerges with his highly anticipated album "Loved Alone," set to release under Roam Recordings. Hailing from Mexico, Cabizbajo’s musical journey traces back to his teenage years, where he honed his skills as a guitarist and drummer for various rock bands. Now a prominent DJ and producer based in Guadalajara, Cabizbajo is recognized for his eclectic blend of electronic dance music, with a particular focus on dark disco and indie dance vibes. 
"Loved Alone" represents a culmination of Cabizbajo's musical evolution, offering listeners a diverse array of sounds and textures. Spanning across various styles of electronic dance music, the album seamlessly weaves together elements of dark disco, indie dance, and dreamy atmospheres. Æ Recordings – the infamous sublabel of Thule Records was responsible for some of the finest techno releases from Iceland in the early 2000s. With the motherlabel on full throttle it was ideal to revive the enigmatic junior label as well. The label was known for bringing in fresh winds into the scene – and this release doesn‘t stray away from the concept at all. 

The debut release of Nonnimal, a young and innovative producer from Reykjavik, is both oracular and hard-hitting. The A-side offers two outstanding atmospheric minimal techno anthems – perfect for the late backroom during a long-night out. B-side has three tracks – ready for to hypnotize the dancefloor with its repetitive percussions and its unwavering groove. 

Æ Recordings/Thule Records is considered by many to be a pioneers in the field of dub-influenced techno music and was a starting point for many of Iceland‘s most renowned electronic musicians.
