During the COVID pandemic a group of artists challenged themselves to create listening experiences to a certain topic chosen by chance. Due to the quarantine restrictions the results of this challenge had to be enjoyed via peer-to-peer video broadcasting. There were several active listening sessions like that and over twenty productions were created to various topics like "Love", "Virtual romance" or "Antarctica".

"Tollwut" and "Synapses" are two hybrid mixes that M-pha, the experimental moniker of GLYK label owner Baldu, created for the above mentioned sessions.

They are about birth and decay of human thought and lively matter.
