DAZ FUREY FREEBIES

I was kindly invited onto Pat Hurley's Re-Wired show in NRBC.IO and given the opportunity to do my first ever live PA of my tracks - all unreleased techno. Thanks to Pat for having faith in me and giving the opportunity - I can hear plenty flaws in there but for me it's such an enjoyable experience doing it live. 
For the geek squad: I controlled everything with my Octatrack mkII, everything being a model samples and a Roland Boutique SE02. I hd everything running through an Analog Heat Mk II and the SE02 was going through an Empress Zoia ;-)

24 February 2023 - @MarkFilth asked me to come to Weston and do a set. I don't really DJ  that much anymore but wanted to do something, so I thought I'd try to DJ with my Octatrack. I don't think it's great for DJing so ended up creating a bit of a set, essentially about 70 plus tracks in a hour, akin to 3 deck mixing I suppose as I'm using a lot of tracks looped, with loads of samples thrown in, and some of my mashups of some classic techno thrown in for good measure. Very grateful to Mark and all the DJs down there who inspired me. This is a test version of the set - not the actual set - though there may be a copy of that somewhere (Unfortunately found out mid-set one of my cables wasn't plugged in properly so that impacted on the old stereo functioning - live and learn! check your cables!)

Another remix on City Wall this time Nelman. Great producer with an industrial ear - think it was Tosi who actually introduced me to his music. Then quite some time later I was asked by Ross at City Wall to remix for him. Nice.
